Drum ball is a class designed to improve your fitness and rhythm, using the fit ball and drum sticks. A conditioning section is also included which will improve your balance and core stability.
Drum Ball is a fantastic stress release. Hi or low impact moves with the legs while drumming the ball gives both the upper body and lower body a great work out.
Low-medium Drum Ball is suitable for beginners to advanced fitness levels.
A typical Drum Ball class will follow the following format: 1. Warm up - 5-10 minutes of simple aerobics moves using the fit ball and drum sticks. The pace is easy and the moves are simple. 2. Cardio section- 20-30 minutes of cardio work using simple aerobic moves, the drum sticks and fit ball.
3. Strength section- 10 minutes of strength moves including squats, pushups, or abs. 3. Recovery and stretch - Recovery to lower the heart rate and then stretch the muscles.
Bring a water bottle and a towel. Wear comfortable clothes and suitable sport shoes.
If you mix Fit Ball with some of the other classes offered on the timetable 3 times a week you can achieve a well rounded weekly work out routine.
