What is Fit Box?

Fit box uses boxing gloves and focus mits and is carried out in pairs. Based on several martial arts, the class combines punching and kicking to get a great cardio work out.
Knock out the kilos with this action packed class which is designed to be both physically challenging and great fun. Stimulate every area of your body with boxing, kicking and resistance work.
What will it do for me ?
Fit Box helps burn fat and increase fitness levels by increasing the heart rate. The inclusion of strength work such as push ups and crunches helps increase strength and tone up the body.

Fit Box is suitable for beginners right up to hardcore fitness enthusiasts.
What is a typical Fit Box class like?
A typical Fit Box class will follow the following format:
1. Warm up - 5-10 minutes of free style punching moves and slow jogging to warm up the arms and legs. The pace is easy and the moves are simple.
2. Cardio section- 30-40 minutes of boxing moves in pairs. Boxing gloves and focus mitts are used. The section includes some running, pushups and abdominal work.
3. Recovery and stretch - Recovery to lower the heart rate and then stretch the muscles.
What do I need to bring?
Bring a water bottle and a towel. Wear comfortable clothes and suitable sport shoes.
How often should I do Fit Box ?
If you do Fit Box two to three times per week you will feel fitter, stronger and leaner. You could mix Fit Box with some of the other classes offered on the timetable for a well rounded weekly work out routine.
