Free Aerobics is suitable for low to high fitness levels. Once you get the hang of the moves the class is really easy to follow.
What is a typical Free Aerobics class like?
A typical Free Aerobics class will follow the following format:
1. Warm up - 5-10 minutes of simple aerobics moves used to warm up the muscles and get the blood moving. The pace is easy and the moves are simple.
2. Cardio section- 30-40 minutes of aerobics moves gradually developed to create a flowing, fun, aerobic routine.
3. Strength and conditioning- 5-10 minutes of abdominal work.
4. Recovery and stretch - Recovery to lower the heart rate and then stretch the muscles.
What do I need to bring?
Bring a water bottle and a towel. Wear comfortable clothes and suitable sport shoes.
How often should I do Free Aerobics?
If you do Free Aerobics two to three times per week you will feel fitter, stronger and leaner. You could mix Free Aerobics with some of the other classes offered on the timetable for a well rounded weekly work out routine.
