At Blackwood Fitness we offer a substantial range of fitness classes and social events for our more mature members.

Our fully qualified staff can design a fitness program which suits individual requirements, or members can choose classes from our group fitness timetable.
Classes include:
Aqua Aerobics- Aerobic moves in the pool, reducing the impact on the body.
Strength for Life- Group exercise sessions with an instructor.
Mature Moves- Gentle exercise class including dance, strength training and relaxation.
ChiBall- Group fitness class combining Tai Chi, dance, yoga, pilates and meditation.
Fitness classes result in increased mobility, bone density, fitness levels and self-esteem.
Social Events
In addition to getting a great work out, members can make the most of the regular social events we have planed.
- Biscuits and coffee are provided after each Strength for Life session.
- The last Thursday of each month at 11.00 morning tea is provided.
- Each month a social outing or in-house event is organised.
